Quite huffs could be heard in the still air as the medium build calico molly makes her way through the Oak forest. Nostrils flaring as she took in deep breaths after vigorous training. She could feel the dampness of her pelt from sweat as she takes in the silence around her. Grunting as she wished for a light breeze, not like she was asking for much, but to the universe around her it would seem like her wish was impossible. Cerulean blue eyes flickering from one direction to another, paws pressing silently against the soil beneath her. Easily ignoring the dirt clinging in-between her toes, taunt muscles slowly relaxing as Burningskies continues on with her stroll.
Pausing briefly at the faint chirping of birds high above singing to the dying sun as if saying goodbye for now. Smiling softly at her thought, tilting her cranium up to stare at the leafy canopy that shelters her. Sunlight barely peeking through the branches above. Humming in appreciation of the sight before her as she continued on. She wasn’t sure on why she had decided on taking a walk after training, especially when her stomach growled as a reminder that dinner had yet to be served. Pushing the thought of food to the back of her mind as of right now she needed to relief some stress. Who knows maybe she will hunt down her evening meal before returning back to camp for the night.

Dirt clung to the ginger paws as they thunder along the earth. The tom cat practically galloping through the forest, pride beaming from his face; his first training session with his new apprentice was a complete success, despite his constant worrying. His long slender body granting him ease as he weaved around trees. Foxnoses evening was anything but quiet, the feline couldn’t help it he just had so much energy built up. The peaceful song of his feathered friends replaced by the frantic flapping of wings as they scattered, spooked by his thunderous howl that erupted deep from his chest.
When Hollystar appointed him to be Plumpaw mentor Foxnose was a nervous wreck, afraid he would fail as a mentor. His nervousness vanished the ginger feline felt more confident that ever, his accomplishment mustn’t stay a secret as his paws itched with needing to share his news with anyone who would listen. Stopping to catch his breath had provided enough silence for the soft humming of a near by clanmate to invade his ear drums, without waiting to find out which one the tom cat had already leap in the direction of her hums. Calico fur entering his amber gaze immediately recognizing her, “Burningskies!” He mewed, scrambling around her, “Plumpaw and I just had such an amazing first training.” He purred loudly, chest puffed out.August 13, 2019 at 8:55 pm #2743RoachParticipant
Long fluffy ink black and salamander orange tail flickers side to side in graceful movements as the she-cat sighs with content. As the warrior had nothing to truly do at this moment had brought her to stay within the thickened Forrest full of Oak trees that towered high to where it almost seemed like the trees were touching the sky, but Burningskies knew better than to belief such a thing. A small smile tugging at her rubbery hued lips as it seemed that a little walk through the woods is exactly what she needed, a change of scenery.
Black ears twitching as she sensed another feline approaching. Swirling around to face the cat as she heard her name. Arching a brow as Foxnose came prancing towards her. ‘Someone is in a good mood’ she thought with amusement. Blue eyes twinkling as she couldn’t help but feel joy for the tom, his energy was just so infectious. “Well there ya go! Congratulations! Now I don’t have to hear you muttering under your breath about worrying in the warriors den” she teased with a cheeky grin upon her lips. Though she couldn’t help but wonder when she too would receive her first apprentice, but she didn’t dare voice her thoughts as she knew that patience was key. When Hollystar believed she was ready, she will be ready.
