Silverferret ~ ThunderClan Warrior
Soft hums were emitting from the young mollies throat as she walked through the dense forest. The sun was high in the sky, but the warm rays weren’t enough to cut through the chill of this leaf-bare season. Slowly she ran her rough pink tongue over her dry lips, trying to moisten the skin for a moment before her eyes flickered towards the hefty tomcat that walked beside of her, but just a few paces ahead. Where are we going today? She wondered curiously to herself, periwinkle blue eyes gazing at him fondly before her lips parted in order to speak. “So.. you’ve been awfully quiet since we left camp.” Silverferret chimed in, chin lifting in the air as she gave her mate a soft smile. Foxnose hadn’t uttered much of a word and he seemed a bit nervous, but his firey ginger fur was flat against his toned and muscular body, her eyes lingering along his pelt for a brief moment before she sped up her pace in order to walk closer to him.
She had grown used to staying close to the tomcat, his long fur and warm body heat was comforting and made this weather bearable. Whether he liked it or not, she just gently pressed her side against his own to silently comfort her mate. Silverferret was already a short and slender feline, but pressed against her mate she felt even smaller against the massive tomcat. Although, she loved it. His fur was thick, his head was massive along his shoulders and his jaw was handsomely chiseled. While she was the complete opposite, everything about her was small and slim, her head was small and perfectly wedges as she wiggled her whiskers for a brief moment before looking at the Tom once more. “Where are we going?” She asked softly, smiling faintly. Her silver and white tabby striped pelt appeared a dull grey in the shadows of the trees, but every now and then the sun would grace her pelt and allow her to shine.January 20, 2020 at 8:44 pm #4813
Sweet hums from Silverferret wanted the large toms heart, his head turning to take a quick look at her. His fluffy tail tapping her nose, “Youre the cutest.” A deep chuckle following his compliment. He cared deeply for the smaller silver molly behind him, she had accepted him and his flaws, even when he told her about his newfound family. Even when his gaze turned away from her he could still she her small frame and sweet eyes.
A loud purr rumbled from deep within his finger chest as she pressed into his fur, part of her disappearing inside it. He didn’t mind, he belonged to her, she could use him for warmth anytime she pleased. His pace slowly to help the molly with her smaller strides. Tufted ears flickered at her voice speaking up once again, “Patience darlin. We’ll be there soon” Foxnose never had an issue opening up but he couldn’t seem to find the worlds to tell her she was going to meet his elder brothers.
The scent of the water bank insulted his sense telling him they were close, his pace quickens. Beckoning her along with a soft smile, not a word muttered as he weaved his way to the bank, not a sign of his brothers arrival yet. Sighing loudly he settles beside the bank, “Take a seat Sweet, they’ll be here shortly.” His tail wiggling in anticipation.
With the sudden sight of similar ginger pelt the hefty built tom jumped to his paws, Firebird! Excitement filled his paws as his brother moved closer towards them, No Honeysplash? I guess he still needs time. His tail laid across Silverferrets back, “Come meet my brother.” His muzzle right next to her ear as he whispered to her. Turning his sights back to his brother, “Firebird! It’s good to see you again. This is Silverferret, my mate.” He proudly announced his beautiful molly to his pelt-twin brother.

Firestar ~Skyclan Leader
Large tuft paws press into the frozen earth as the large feline treks through the familiar birch forest. His dark ember eyes flickering around lazily, eyeing the frost glittering on the ashy white branches in the afternoon light. Sighing with content as the leader managed to escape his camp for some peace and quiet. He was tired of having the watchful and nosy eyes and ears on him at all times since gaining the title of a leader. His usually tense posture relaxing as he feels the cold wind ruffle his long fluffy pelt that held a fiery hue in the small patches of sunlight that managed to peak through the woven birch branches above.
Firestar had tried to convince his brother; Honeysplash to come with him. As Fox, Honey, and himself had discussed meeting again in three weeks time. Honey had made an excuse that Rookfall had given him warrior duties to attend to. Firestar decided not to question or point out the obvious lie as he knew how Honey felt about everything; it was overwhelming him. Now was the time as the sun was was settling halfway in the dusty blue sky, squinting his eyes as he glances up for a moment to enjoy the silence around him. Picking up his pace as he already knew that he was going to be slightly late due to his slow blissful stroll.
Eyes lighting up as he spots the small opening of the forest that leads to the stream that separated Skyclan from Thunderclan. Grunting slightly as his large form carefully maneuvers through the branches, ignoring a few that snagged against his thick fur. Long tufted ears perking up at the gentle lapping of the water against the smooth stones. Firestar could already sense that Foxnose was waiting for him, but he also smelt someone else with him by the strong scent of lavender breezing past his peach colored nose. His large broad form tenses as he appears in the open, furrowing his brow in confusion as he spots the large lighter ginger figure of his brother with a small petite form of a silver molly huddled against him.
Nodding his large wedged cranium in greetings before letting his piercing gaze lock with periwinkle. Eyeing Silverferret for a moment, by the way she clung to his brother that she was the mate he had briefly mentioned. She wasn’t exactly what he had pictured, but they seemed to compliment one another. Giving her a smirk before looking back at Foxnose, “What happened to being discrete? Oh Honeysplash couldn’t make it, he had some warrior duties to attend to” He teased and withheld the truth, amusement flickering in his reddish-orange gaze, his tone smooth as he spoke towards his younger brother. Settling down on his rump, letting his long fluffy tail wrapping around his large paws. His left ear twitching at the name ‘Firebird’ but decided on not correcting him just yet on his new status. “Ah nice to meet you; Silverferret. I assume that Foxnose has filled you in on everything?” He inquired with a slight tilt to his cranium.January 20, 2020 at 9:58 pm #4832
Silverferret ~ ThunderClan Warrior
She blinked softly for a moment, letting her chin tilt as his tail lightly tapped against her nose. Wiggling her nose as he called her the cutest, causing her to roll her purple and blue colored eyes. “Only to you.” Silverferret mused softly, looking away from him for a moment while she gazed around the thinning forest, the oak and pine trees beginning to retreat as they got closer and closer to the edge of the river. “Sadly, I do not have any patience.” She snickered softly, ear twitching gently as she leaned into the tomcat as they walked, silently noting that he had slowed down his pace in order for her to walk comfortably beside of him.
Silverferret was caught by surprise when Foxnose suddenly sped up at the first sign of the river, sound of the running water tingling the sensitive fur within her ears. “I am not running after you.” She mused as her mate quickened his speed to rush towards the river, keeping her pace the same as her small paws barely left a mark behind in the dusty dirt. Silverferret had a suspicion that she was carrying her second litter but first to Foxnose, although she hadn’t spoke with him about her thoughts, she wasn’t the best at carrying kits and therefore she wasn’t willing to push her body to uncomfortable paces. Within moments she had caught up with her mate, eyes narrowing upon his figure as she began to make her way towards him with a soft smile on her face. “Oh, alright.” She snickered playfully when he mentioned for her to sit down, clearing her throat as she lowered her slim body next to his own. They? She wondered silently, although a figure out of the corner of her eye caught her attention, causing her to look across the river.
She barely noticed that her mate had laid his tail across her back or the fact that his muzzle was so close to her ear. Slowly she blinked as her periwinkle colored gaze roamed over the large and broad firey pelted tomcat that sat across the river, his golden eyes searching her own form as he was growing accustomed to who she was. Although, her staring was purely out of shock from how much alike the two tomcats appeared. She knew of Firebird, but she simply couldn’t remember him looking so handsome. “Oh..” Silverferret felt her cheeks heat up when Firebird looked direction at her instead of addressing Foxnose, causing her to clear her throat and give the other tomcat a gentle smile. “Yes, Foxnose has filled me in on everything.” She informed him, while glancing at her mate for a brief moment before he glanced towards Firebird once more, her eyes roaming his face as she could see the familiarities between Foxnose and Firebird. “Oh, uh. It’s nice to meet you as well, Firebird.” She offered him a polite dip of her head and a quiet purr. Honeysplash? There was another? How many good looking toms were there floating about?January 20, 2020 at 10:17 pm #4833
It still didn’t seem real, he had family, actually blood related family. Of course Silverferret was his family now too but just knowing he had brother, even if they were only half, still caused emotions to stir in him that he had never felt before. His gaze rested on his elder brother, eyes filled with awe like a kit seeing warriors return from patrol for the first time, he tried his best to seem cool in front of his mate and brother but his constantly moving paws probably gave away his excitement. His golden eyes glanced down into the water looking at his reflection before returning to Firebird as he did when they first met, they looked so similar but the air around his kin seemed different, nobler, I want to be like that too.
Pulled from his own thoughts by Firebirds voice, he knew he was just making up excused for Honeysplash but he wouldn’t argue with him on the matter, he couldn’t force a relationship with them. “Such a shame he couldn’t make it, perhaps next time then.” He mewed, trying to make it seem like the fact he was unwanted by one his brother was no big deal. “Sorry, I couldn’t exactly keep it from her. She’s my mate after all, and a smart warrior at that she would have figured it out on her own anyways.” His muzzle rubbing against the silvery molly cheek, he help her at the top of his world, she ruled it of course he would tell her.
Though the sudden eyes his mate was making at his older brother sent shivers down his spine. Surely they were similar looking but she didn’t have to stare at him so hard. Without another word Foxnose subtly stepped in their line of sight, glancing towards her, his face clearly saying his was displeased with her behavior. Surely I’m just mistaken though, but its just a precaution. Shaking any bad thoughts from his mind, trying to make their meetings only positive as he didn’t want to ruin a brothership that had yet to even start. “See darlin, we just found out that we share the same useless tom as a father. There’s another one too, Honeysplash, but I guess thats a given since we already mentioned him…”Foxnose enjoyed being able to see his brothers but their air was still thick with anxiety around him, Do we even have anything in common? “How’s leaf-bare treating you and Honeysplash?” He inquired falling back on good old weather talk.January 21, 2020 at 12:30 pm #4836RoachParticipant
Firestar ~Skyclan Leader
Turning his attention solely back onto Foxnose, letting his sharp gaze take in the large ginger figure that sat before him, yet far away across the stream. Firestar was still trying to get use to the sudden revelation that he indeed had a half-brother within Thunderclan. His feathery white whiskers twitching as he suppresses a smile at noticing just how excited Foxnose was that he had showed up for their soon-to-be regular meetings. It still surprises him when he looks upon his younger brother with how similar they looked. As he had always been use to Honeysplash looking nothing a like except for some facial features. When looking at Foxnose, it brought him back to when he was a young warrior, it was so surreal.
Yet, even though they looked so much alike, they couldn’t be so different from one another. While Firestar was closed off and cold, Foxnose radiated warmth and love. Something that Firestar was starting to believe would never happen to him due to his cold persona. Feeling a gaze burning into the side of his face caused him to shift his gaze back to Silverferret. Furrowing his brows in slight confusion at her awe-struck gaze, but soon figured that she was oddly fascinated with how much the brothers looked a like as he was. Once their gazes locked he rises a kitty brow as a small smile appears on his lips. He found it amusing as she easily ignored Foxnose attempt to gain her attention.
Firestar knew just by how his brother acted around the small molly that he was utterly infatuated with her. He could also sense that he could become easily jealous when she showed a tom a bit more attention than himself. His thoughts soon proven when Fox stands before Silverferret to affectively turn her gaze away from Firestar. The older tom grins in pure amusement, before Silverferret could look away he cheekily winked at her. “Don’t worry Foxnose. She is only looking” he teases with a smirk on his handsome features and a small shrug to his broad shoulders. Humming in agreement to his words in regards to their father if one could really call him that.
“Ah yes, Honeysplash noticed Foxnose at the gathering and when we both went on patrol we all just happened to meet…with our similarities brought questions, of course” he adds, his tone remaining smooth and aloof about the words he had spoken. Clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth at Fox’s question in regards how leaf-bare has been affecting him and his clan. Pursing his lips in thought before slowly responding; “Prey has been low, but we are making due. Hopefully this leaf-bare does not last longer than it has in the past” Firestar grunted. His large tufted paws absentmindedly playing with the frozen ground, flicking a few pebbles into the calming waters. Though his ember gaze would ever so often flicker back up to Foxnose and then to Silverferret; though his gaze seemed to linger on her petite form a tad longer. It had nothing to do with being interested in her per-say, but more so in wanting to figure her out as she was indeed his younger brother’s mate.January 25, 2020 at 11:39 am #4861
Silverferret ~ ThunderClan Warrior
She blinked when Foxnose suddenly shifted a wee bit in order to hide most of her view from Firestar, blinking as she found she must have been staring a bit too hard because her mate was beginning to feel uncomfortably. It was now that she realized his tail had been overlaid across her spine, which caused her to spine until she looked up at his face. He was frowning and arched an eyebrow as he silently spoke that he didn’t appreciate that she had been staring for too long. “Oh don’t give me that.. it’s uncanny.” She whispered low enough that Firestar wouldn’t hear, but she kept her chin up as she silently challenged for her mate to say anything outloud. Foxnose still didn’t move out of her way as he began to mention that the toms shared the same father, Foxnose must have bees in his brain if he couldn’t remember mentioning this to her a few nights ago in their nest. Rolling her eyes behind her mates back, she slowly stood up and walked around him to where she was now sitting at his side once more before she leaned into his thick fur. “I see.” Was all she said, looking at Firestar briefly to see that the mentioning of his father didn’t bother him but the mention of this Honeysplash character seemed to make his muscle tense for a brief second.
Seems like someone isn’t as welcoming. She thought for a brief moment, looking up at her mate to see his facial expression. However she soon found heat rushing to her cheeks when Firestar teased her for staring at him, periwinkle blue eyes flashing towards him as he winked at her, causing her ears to lay back with surprise before she looked away from Firestar and leaned furthermore into Foxnose. The attention and the wink had been adorable but she didn’t want her mate to grow suddenly jealous. Clearing her throat she kept her gaze on the rippling water of the stream and on the slow wave of the grass. “I’ve heard a bit about Honeysplash when I was an apprentice. Of course he was almost a warrior then but… last I heard he’s a bit of a Molly’s tom.” Silverferret mumbled, looking from Foxnose to Firestar to confirm that she was indeed thinking of the same tomcat.
Leaf-bare was never easy, so it didn’t surprise her when Firestar seemed hesitant to express that their prey was a bit low but they were making due. Of course, Foxnose wanted to get to know his older brother better but they were of opposite clans and they needed to keep clan business out of this affair. “Well that’s good.” Silverferret meowed before her mate could talk, flicking her ear at Foxnose before she tilted her head for a moment. “Is it only you and Honeysplash?” She asked curiously, she wondered if they had any other siblings or if their mother was still alive.January 28, 2020 at 10:08 am #4896
Foxnose always liked to keep his mate by his side, keeping in mind that she was his equal as a warrior and didn’t need him to constantly guard her, but seeing the ways she was ogling his elder brother he felt the sudden urge to guard her. Clearly upset when he defied his wishes and continued giving Firebird unnecessary attention and moving by his side rather than staying put. A soft subtle growl working his way from his lips to her ear, “We’ll talk about this later.” He couldn’t help his jealously, Silverferret was his first mate. It didn’t help that Foxnose and Firebird did look as if they were twins, very handsome twins if you were to ask him. Allowing his bristled fur to soften when he felt her lean against him, he was still upset but it helped having her closer to him.
Foxnose didn’t hide his discomfort when his brother took his joke a little too far with a wink thrown in Silverferret direction, his displeasure plastered across his muzzle, casting his brother a quick glare. Firebird didn’t have the best reputation amongst Thunderclan, he was known as a “troublemaker” thanks to the gathering events, but they were still kin and it was clear Firebird just wanted to get a reaction from Foxnose. Softening his gaze the tom replaced his scowl with a weak smile at the mention of their other brother being a bit of a player. “I don’t know him that well myself but I’ve heard the rumors as well.”
Cut off before he could get another word in by his mate made it clear he was wondering into subjects he needed to stay away from, biting his tongue from further commenting on clanlife. That’s right we’re not in the same clan…The sudden realization that the brothers would never have the relationship he wanted because of their different lives, his heart growing heavier with every second. Long ginger tail subtly wrapping around Silverferret, seeking out the comfort of his mate. His eyes diverted to the ground, trying to hide his somber expression, his flicking ears the only sign that he was interested in hearing Firebirds answers.
