Snarlingbadger: Da thump. Da thump. Da thump. The painful throb of a headache was throbbing at his temples, blinking slowly as he looked around the clearing, it had been a day after the gathering but his dreams were being haunted from the humungous cat hovering over his body, frozen in place while the omen still rung clearly in his mind. Restore balance or die broken. What a way to drop the ball on such things, whiskers twitching slightly, while he dropped into a thoughtful state. The Tribe cats were also on his mind, a sigh leaving his nostrils as he remembered the feline that called herself Pale Moon, explaining that what he was experiencing for the past moon was what a seer would experience in their Tribe. Clearing his throat he looked towards the Leader’s den, Hollystar hadn’t bothered him that night that they had returned from the gathering and honestly he wasn’t even sure if she had noticed he had been the only ThunderClan cat standing whilst the screams had been echoing around loudly in the ghostly flats. Peachpaw had mentioned that Hollystar would need to see him soon; and she was right. Glancing towards the medicine cat den he noticed Peachpaw was grooming her fluffy fur, grunting loudly as he called for her attention. Once she looked towards him, he gave her a small smile and used his broad snout to point in the direction of the leaders den. He had to ‘tell’ them what he had seen.. he could possibly be leaving the clan for it. The large tomcat pushed himself up into a standing position, broad paws gently carrying him towards the Leader’s Den, the scent of Hollystar was fresh; telling Snarlingbadger she was within the den. Poking in a black and white head, his pale yellow eyes spotted the black she-cat. “Hmmp.” He grunted loudly to imply his presence, giving a respectful dip of his head. Due to his accident as an apprentice, he no longer had enough of his tongue to form understandable words. Scars marked his cheek, throat and stomach from the attack in his apprentice years.
Peachpaw: Peachpaws long grooming session ended when her best friend, Honey, grunt reached her ears. Her soft eyes watched as the tom gestured towards their leaders den, Head tilting in curiously. A confused look making it way to her muzzle, why do we need to go the den? Her silent question quickly answered as she remember Hollystar requested to speak with the tom cat and asked her to inform him of the meeting. The small apprentice jumped to her paws, bouncing happily towards the large feline. A loud purr erupting as she swiftly brushed against his pelt, “Come on Honey!” Peachpaw herself was unaware of the true meaning behind their sudden meeting, clueless to the fact that Honey was one of the seven. She was more than happy to be able to attend a meeting with her Honey. Walking to the den along with the black and white tom, “Excuse us Hollystar!” The she cat mewed before pushing her way into the den. A quick dip of the head towards her leader as she came into sight. Positioning herself between the two felines ready to do her unofficial job as translator. A small reassuring smile flashing towards Snarlingbadger.
Hollystar: After returning late from the chaotic gathering, Hollystar hadn’t gotten a chance to touch base with Snarlingbadger yet. She had noticed that the Warrior had seen the vision, and was itching to speak with the tomcat. The ebony molly turned around quickly as she heard footsteps approaching, followed by a Hrmph! from the tongue-less Warrior. The Thunderclan leader dipped her head. “Hello, Snarlingbadger. I apologize that I didn’t get a chance to talk with you last night,” started the she-cat, “things were just hectic. I’m glad I’m able to speak with you now.” Hollystar got to her paws, then watched as Peachpaw entered. She nodded towards the apprentice. “And thank you, for helping translate.” The she-cat sat down closer to the tom, and rested her emerald gaze on Snarlingbadger. “We need to try and interpret what you saw,” she said simply, and flicked the tip of her tail. She hoped Peachpaw could make sense of what the wordless Warrior saw in his vision.
Snarlingbadger: Pale yellow eyes flickered towards his sister, they weren’t exactly the closest but he did care for his sister. He saw that it wasn’t her fault, their parents had basically abandoned him when he had been attacked by a badger when he was an apprentice, the odds didn’t seem in his favor. Although, he had pulled through his almost fatal injuries, his parents had adjusted their focus onto their healthy and very promising kit of the litter, Hollystar. She had been the favorite, heck she could even talk. Chewing on the inside of his cheek when her eyes moved towards him and Peachpaw, he gave a one shouldered shrug. Just wonderful. He sighed, lowering his rump to where he was sitting down and looking towards the ground, avoiding the black furred she-cat for a moment. Slowly a very large paw stuck out as he pushed a toe into the soft dirt of the den floor, trying his best to draw a very large cat looming in the sky, drawing seven much smaller cats under the large cat. Looking up from his make shift drawing, his ears stood straight up while his broad muzzle lifted to gaze at the ceiling of the den. Gesturing to the sky if you will. I saw the biggest cat formation I have ever seen, it was like all of StarClan had been formed in this cat. Snarlingbadger wanted to say, his lips twitching as he fought the urge to open his mouth, it was useless to do so. Clearing his throat, he looked towards Peachpaw and Hollystar to see if they followed him so far, paw pointing to one of the seven cats, before the paw landed on his broad chest, indicating one of the cats he had drawn was him. Once he was sure the mollies were on board, he continued with touching his head and wincing and closing his eyes as if he were in pain and distressed, which this vision caused. Then he opened his eyes and looked towards Hollystar and Peachpaw, clearing his throat and standing straighter while closing his eyes. He really had to concentrate with lip talking, without a tongue it was hard to form the words correctly. Restore balance or die broken. Pale yellow eyes flickered the life as he blinked, chin tilting slightly as he hoped he had mouthed the words correctly, eyeing their expressions carefully to make sure they truly understood him. This message was too important for them not to understand, the tribe cats were saying that the clan cats affected by these visions could possibly leave their clans.. he wasn’t sure how he felt about that.
Peachpaw: The soft blue eyes of the apprentice focused onto the drawing in the dirt beneath the felines. Once again being almost hypnotized by the toms form of communication, her personal favorite form. Raising from her position she moved closer to the drawing, “Well obviously that one is a very large cat,” she mewed to her leader. Studying the drawing her thoughts wandered back to the gathering as that was the reasoning for their meeting. “that tribe cat said there were seven cats right?” Her gaze turned to her fellow clan mates for conformation. Watching as the tom cat gestures to himself, the color from Peachpaws face seemed to have vanished, her small body moving closer to him, “Honey, you aren’t one of them are you?” Her Head tilting with wonder. Fur from her neck floof scattered around the den floor as she refused to accept this, “I don’t want to play this game anymore Honey you win” her voice cracked as she admitted defeat to a game they weren’t even playing. As the tom continued to tell his story the realization that he was serious sent Peachpaw away from the tom cat, sitting more beside her leader. For the first time Peachpaw was quiet, she didn’t want to believe her friend was one of the seven but she had a duty as the future medicine cat. Swallowing her feelings the she cat sat up straight, a small sniffle was heard from her as she fought to hold it all in. She had to do this, she was one of the few cats who know almost exactly what he was talking about due to their connection. Turning to Hollystar she explained his head pain and wincing, “You might know that feeling Hollystar, it’s the same for me when Starclan sends me messages.” Receiving messages or visions from their ancestors wasn’t the most pleasant experience as most leaders and medicine cats would tell you. “A prophecy perhaps, maybe a warning?” The apprentice was throughly confused as to why a simple warrior would be given such a thing instead of Hollystar, Cherrycloud, or herself. Noticing the tom trying to mouth words she hesitantly moves closer to him. “So far we know that the seven saw a big cat in the sky, which I’m assuming is the vision he referred to.” Clearing up what was obvious her but maybe not to Hollystar. She pondered what he could possibly be trying to say, going through all the options in her head. Finally it clicked, luckily the she cat had a very strong connection with Snarlingbadger, being able to understand him quite well. The she cat turn in attention to her leader, “Restore balance or die broken.” Her eyes faded to the ground as she moved into a corner of the den to process things herself, refusing to make anymore eye contact with Snarlingbadger.

Hollystar touched her nose to her brother’s ear, before stepping back and listening. The she-cat had never agreed with her parents’ favoritism towards herself. In her opinion, Snarlingbadger was just as capable as herself, and probably even more skilled than her in some aspects. She loved her littermate dearly- he was the only other cat from her litter to survive. However, her parents bias drove the two apart and they weren’t as close as Hollystar wished they were.
With a sigh, the leader snapped back to reality, focusing intently on the two cats. In all honesty, she wasn’t very good at deciphering what her brother was saying- she was glad Peachpaw had come along. She had known something was up with her brother last night, but when it was revealed that he might have seen a prophecy, her heart skipped a beat. What could it mean?
“Er, yes. Receiving messages from Starclan is almost never a completely pleasant experience,” she meowed, agreeing with the Medicine Cat Apprentice. Usually it sent a thrilling jolt through her when she spoke to her ancestors- especially if receiving a daunting prophecy. “Restore balance or die…” she mumbled under her breath. The ebony feline’s eyes fogged over, trying to process the ominous message. “What could it mean?” she asked, her head jerking towards Peachpaw, then towards Snarlingbadger. “Have either of you heard anything else from Starclan? Any further clues?”June 12, 2019 at 7:26 pm #1318FearedParticipant
Snarlingbadger ~ ThunderClan Warrior
He was surprised when Hollystar had seemed affectionate, his problem never really had anything to do with his Littermate, he was rather proud of her. But what could he do? They had grown up separated from their parents truffle with him and she was now the leader of ThunderClan! She didn’t need sibling issues. Blinking slowly his pale yellow eyes flickered towards Peachpaw as she deciphered what he was trying to say, nodding when the small apprentice asked if he was one of the seven cats. It appears so.. He thought to himself, also seeming troubled. The large tomcat was also rather surprised at the amount of emotion that was coming off of Peachpaw in waves, causing him to frown as he knew his friend was having a hard time accepting what he was explaining.
Clearing his throat he looked towards Hollystar as she stared at him with their mothers eyes, his ears twitching as they laid back against his head. She looked incredibly worried, shaking his head when she questioned him. Grunting he used a large paw to swipe the dirt clean of the first drawing. Now drawing the mountains of which the tribal cats had traveled through from wherever they had come from, now drawing what looked like seven cats standing in front of the path. The tribe she-cat, Pale Moon, had spoken clearly when she said that their ancestors were suggesting these seven cats leave their clans and join the tribe for rounds of testing to see who would be the next ‘seer’.. whatever that was. Looking up from his drawing he glanced back and forth between Hollystar and Peachpaw. He really didn’t want to leave his clan.. nor his ‘friend’ Peachpaw and his sister Hollystar. But.. would it be best? Is this what he survived the attack for?June 12, 2019 at 7:59 pm #1320PeachParticipant
Thunderclans Peachy Princess
Her small body was smushed against the back of Hollystars den, honestly she had already declared this meeting over. Her blue gaze took notice of the tom starting a new drawing, moving to where she could still see what he was doing. Nostrils flared when she figured out what he was trying to tell them, “The tribe wants the seven cats to go live with them to discover the new so called “seer” whatever that is” the words flowed out of the apprentice is a very monotone voice. Part of Peachpaws skill was putting two and two together, there’s no way possible to say exactly what Snarlingbadger was describing without being able to remember everything the tribal cats spoke of at the gathering.
Hollystars question did cause the apprentice to snap back into her normal self only slightly, no one said this was from starclan, Peachpaw jumped to her paws, trotting over to her leader, “I haven’t heard anything from starclan but what if this wasn’t a message from Starclan, what if it’s from a different force entirely. Why would Starclan have us send our clanmates away?” Peachpaw settled between the cats once more, still avoiding any eye contact with SnarlingbadgerJune 12, 2019 at 8:15 pm #1321
Hollystar’s ear flicked. How dare this tribe demand that these cats go to live with them? The leader gave out a snort. “I don’t trust these tribe cats,” she said matter-of-factly. The molly looked towards Snarlingbadger. Maybe she just didn’t want him to leave. Emotion filled her glazed her eyes for a split second. She felt the regret of never being close to her brother, especially now that he might have to take a new path in life. As Peachpaw spoke again, the leader let her gentle gaze rest upon the apprentice.
The thought of another supernatural force never crossed her mind. All she had ever known was Starclan- what else could there be? “You have a good point,” the leader muttered. Why would her ancestors take away her and the other clan’s cats? They needed their Warriors in the forest, not with some weird mountain cats! “But if it is Starclan, perhaps Snaringbadger and the other have a more important destiny to fulfill. Although we need them in the clans, maybe this ‘seer’ place needs them more,” Hollystar meowed. She wasn’t sure if she was trying to convince the other two cats or herself.June 12, 2019 at 8:37 pm #1323FearedParticipant
Snarlingbadger ~ ThunderClan Warrior
He listened quietly, since it was all that he could really do, chin tilted as he listened to the mollies go back and forth between each other. Honestly, he hadn’t been thinking about the events too hard because of the head bursting headache he had from the vision, it had been two days since the gathering and he was still feeling the effects. Pale yellow eyes only taking notice that Peachpaw would not look at him, as if she were mad at him! Hey.. I didn’t choose this. He wanted to muttered, teeth clenched with annoyance. Eyebrows pulling together as he listened to Peachpaw propose that perhaps it wasn’t StarClan that was plaguing his dreams and waking hours with visions, pupils narrowing as he looked towards Hollystar. He hadn’t considered the possibility of there being other ancestors besides.. Well besides StarClan.
Hollystars facial expression wasn’t exactly what he had expected, her eyes were full of emotion as she gazed thoughtfully at him while he gave her a large one shouldered shrug. The Tom had always wanted a better relationship with his Littermate, but with their parents and her swift moving career.. it never seemed like a good time.. and what could he say? He was useless in communication now these days, without Peachpaw.. he truly felt alone. Snarlingbadger didn’t exactly trust the tribe cats either, but he wasn’t exactly sure what to make of the vision. If it weren’t for that vision he wouldn’t even consider leaving his clan. Slowly he lowered his tall and broad figure to a laying position, closing his eyes as he rested from seeing light shining through the den, his head throbbing. Ears twitching as he listened to Peachpaw and Hollystar. The other seven cats.. would they leave their clans to join this tribe? His nose twitched slightly with the unruly thought, eyes slowly opening as he watched the two converse, lips twitching with the want to join in the conversation but he simply looked outside of the den, a heavy sigh leaving his parted ivory lips.June 12, 2019 at 8:56 pm #1324PeachParticipant

Peachpaw didn’t want to see the truth in Hollystars words, maybe he is needed else-where. “But what if I need him here” Her words were quiet, speaking them mostly to herself, gaze shifting to the tom. Her ginger tail wrapped itself around her small paws, mind off in a wander. She did feel bad watching the tom lay down, Peachpaw was simply being selfish about him leaving. Not fully realizing how much pressure this must put on the tom. Wanting to move and sit beside but, resisting the urge to due so in front of the leader, this was suppose to be a professional meeting.
“Perhaps we should meet with this “seer” tribe cat, learn more about them before just sending my Honey—I mean Snarlingbadger away to some random place” The tribe was a complete mystery to her and the rest of the clan. Something about sending warriors to an unknown land didn’t feel right, “or maybe at least speak with the other clans who had cats summoned?”
