The moorland blurred beneath the dainty paws of a WindClan warrior as she bounded through the territory she knew like the back of her tail. Tinyflame was on her way to look over the border with ShadowClan, per the request of the WindClan deputy, Owlbelly. Usually, border patrols did not ever send singular warriors out to check their scent lines, but WindClan’s resources were stretched thin with preoccupied hunting patrols, and others of the sort.

Wolfstar, Nettlenose, as well as senior warrior Toxicshard and Palebriar were out in ThunderClan territories right about now, looking for a cause of the disappearances to their clanmates. Startledpaw and Thistlepaw had just returned to camp, damp to the bone and escorted by RiverClan’s deputy. Owlbelly was busy enough and could not afford to spare many warriors. In all honesty, the small warrior felt pride swelling within her to know that he relied on her enough to trust her off on her own to mark their borders. Hopefully, all would go well without issue.

    redmask

The red-toned tom had decided to go for a little walk after meeting up with his sister. It was a rather delightful meeting, but Redmask still wanted some time to look around. While shadowclan had officially declared closed borders, the handsome warrior couldn’t help but poke around the edge of his territory for anyone new. Though he enjoyed spending time with his clanmates, Redmask couldn’t help but want something new and refreshing. And so, there he was, ignoring Hornetstar’s words and making his way to the windclan border to peek around. Just my luck! Amber eyes catching a glimpse of a rather small ginger feline, Redmask made his way towards the feline who seemed to be on her own.

“Well someone looks rather happy.” Redmask purred, tail curling behind him as he approached the pretty she-cat, careful to stay on his side of the border. “What’s a pretty little windclanner like you doing so far from camp? Not that I’m complaining.” The tom carried a smug smile on his features. Some would call him charming while others would call him overly-confident, but Redmask preferred to say using his assets.  He was a smooth-talking charmer who liked to carry felines on his string, and maybe this pretty molly could be a new addition. “The name’s Redmask. What’s your name?” The young warrior waited patiently, settling down on his side of the border.

Tinyflame’s hackles rose at the smell of ShadowClan– quickly approaching. Her blue eyes looked upwards, out towards the other side of the border to find another cat coming on upon the border. By the look on his face, she assumed that he wasn’t up to any good, that smug smirk painted across his expression made her stomach turn. Although, he had yet to cross the border, so she had no direct room to judge him.

That was, until he opened his mouth and ran off with distasteful flirting, which only served to crawl under her pelt immediately. She was already on bad terms with her mentor, who had a bad habit of sweet-talking she-cats and running into another tom that shared that trait sent her temper flaring quicker than one could say ‘mouse’.

“I’m on border patrol right now, taking care of my warrior duties as I should hope you do the same. Watch where you put your paws unless you want to mess up that smirk of yours.” She replied hotly with a lash of her tail that further showed she was in no mood for his attempt to charm.
