The berry coloured apprentice was absolutely ecstatic after experiencing his first ever training session. Foxnose seemed to be really nice and wanted Berrypaw to do his best, so the tom couldn’t help but feel giddy on his way back to camp. He learned about tracking and how to be aware of his environment. And I’m one step closer to becoming a warrior! A permanent smile plastered on his face distracted the young apprentice to any and all of his surroundings, which turned out to be an ironic mistake because he felt a sudden and sharp pain in his front left paw. Letting out a yelp, the tom lifted his small paw to observe it and noticed the tiniest little thorn pushing into the pad. With a pout, Berrypaw attempted to take it out with his teeth but was unable to get a good grip on it. It kept slipping between his fangs and he decided that it wouldn’t work. Blinking, he lapped at it a few times before realizing it would take a professional to get this thorn out. And so, the little apprentice limped his way back to the thunderclan camp, careful not to make it worse.
As he made his way into the camp, he kept his eyes peeled for either the medicine cat or the medicine cat apprentice. Noticing that neither of them were in the clearing, he headed towards their den. His soft amber eyes landed on the familiar face of Peachpaw and he couldn’t help but smile. “Hi, Peachpaw!” He greeted her happily. Berrypaw really wanted to become her friend, and she seemed to be more friendly towards him lately so when he saw her face in the medicine cat’s den he couldn’t help but light up. The young apprentice lifted his paw to her face with a pout, “Can you help me? I stepped on a thorn and couldn’t get it out. It really hurts.” The tom complained though, he might have exaggerated a bit. Settling down quietly as she began to do her work, Berrypaw looked around silently, trying to think of words to say. “You’re really helpful. And really good at this too.” The way he talked could easily be confused for him having a crush on her, which wasn’t the case. Though Peachpaw was a very pretty molly who treated the tom kindly, he didn’t quite have a grasp on love or attraction just yet. Berrypaw was easily impressed and incredibly impressionable, and he very much looked up to Peachpaw. He couldn’t help that he had such a bubbly and forward personality and wanted to be around those he liked. So while others might see him as having a cute little crush, he saw himself as being a great friend.

Thunderclans Peachy Princess
Peachpaw loves her role within the clan, being able to help her clanmates was always here dream, but that seemed to be the current issue, no one in the clan rarely needed her help. While in the long run that was a good thing for the clan, for the energetic apprentice it just made the days go on for what seems to be forever. The molly knew her den by heart and could most definitely find everything she needed with her eyes closed and a paw tied behind her back. Sorting herbs had become such a boring task for her, honestly any distraction was welcomed at this point. Being alone in the den with no real task to do just gave the she cat to much time to think about her meeting with Hollystar and Snarlingbadger.
The voice of a familiar tom pulled Peachpaws attention away from the herbs of the den, a smile forming upon her muzzle, “Berrypaw” she purred, welcoming the apprentice into her den. Hearing the tom needed her help sent Peachpaw into Medicine Cat Mood, escorting the tom to one of the freshly made nest she had set aside for her patients, “Wait here a moment.” She ordered him, tail flicking his nose as she padded away. Though she was sure his paw would be fine, he was in training to become a warrior, she couldn’t risk his paw getting an infection due to her negligence. Bringing back a dried oak leaf, setting in beside herself. “Okay Berrypaw, I’m going to pull it out now. Just take a deep breath” With that she leaned down to his paw, her small teeth gripping the thorn, pulling in our with all the force her tiny body could produce. “Oh why thank you Berrypaw. I’m glad someone thinks I’m useful” The she cat smiled at the tom as she applied the dried leaves to the spit where the thorn was pulled from.
“I take it you just got back from your training session with Foxnose, how did that go?” She had spent most of the day alone so she tried to keep up a conversation with the tom as a way to keep him in the den for some much needed company. “Actually while you’re hear why don’t I give you a quick check up” Without giving the tom a chance to reply she moved in closer to him. In truth a particular tom outside of the den caught her eyes, she wanted to test the tom, his loyalty and love towards her. Once she was sure he was within earshot the molly raised her tone with her next words, “Berrypaw you’re such a strong apprentice I’m sure you’re going to be the best warrior Thunderclan has ever seen” While her words were focused on the apprentice her gaze was locked on Snarlingbadger, a smirk finding its way to her muzzle.June 14, 2019 at 1:56 am #1389
Snarlingbadger ~ ThunderClan Warrior
The tall and broad black and white tomcat was slipping through the entrance of the camp, his throat dry from training and his muscles sporting a dull ache that he was rather used to. No matter your age or rank, one should always be ready to train and keep their strength up. Today hadn’t been the best day, earlier on Peachpaw had been completely ignoring him, wouldn’t make eye contact when he glanced over towards her this morning. She had been completely avoiding him after the meeting they had yesterday with Hollystar.. but this wasn’t his fault! Her temperament towards him today had put him in a rather bad mood, yellow eyes narrowing towards the ground as he purposively stomped his paws against the ground in irritation. Ears twitching as he lifted his chin, pale yellow eyes flickering towards Medicine cats den as he suddenly heard Peachpaw.. however what he saw, made his temper suddenly flare.
Peachpaw was almost pressed against a small and young apprentice, even though Peachpaw was clearly older than this young apprentice, she was awfully close to him. Her words only spiked at his anger, pupils narrowing in on Peachpaw as her creamy fur mingled with the berry colored fur of the young apprentice. Oh, so since I’m leaving she has decided to find other toms. He thought to himself, his upper lip curling over his teeth as he gave a small snarl. Peachpaw was his. He wasn’t sure when he had suddenly become so possessive over the young female, but he had. Over the weeks of bonding and glued to each other’s side, he had fallen in love with Peachpaw and he would be damned in she just simply moved on. Her eyes were glued on him, although he hadn’t realized she was toying with his emotions. Grunting to himself he found himself swiftly walking across the clearing, cats moving out of the large cats way.
Ducking his head down so he didn’t bump it in the ceiling of the den, he growled as his pale yellow eyes landed on Berrypaw. Honestly, the apprentice seemed too bright eyes and bushy tailed to understand what flirting was. Moving his broad body he physically pushed his way between the two cats, using his size to his advantage as he pushed Peachpaw away from Berrypaw. Growling as he circled Peachpaw with his form, protecting her from the advancements of Berrypaw. His tail curled around Peachpaw’s and he laid his chin on top of her forehead, unable to use his words, he used his body. She was his and once she reached of age, everyone would know it. Snarlingbadger clearly towered over the younger cats, narrowed eyes watching Berrypaw as he gave a small huff, if Berrypaw would even so much as move in Peachpaw’s direction.. Snarlingbadger would teach him a painful lesson.June 14, 2019 at 2:24 am #1390
The bright tom settled in the nest that she had set aside for patients, waiting for her to return with herbs. At her direction, Berrypaw took a deep breath as she prepared to take the thorn out of his paw. Muffling a small yelp that almost escaped his lips, Berrypaw was immediately grateful for Peachpaws help when he saw the small thorn between her teeth. “Thank you!” Berrypaw thanked her happily, whiskers twitching with excitement. My first injury as an apprentice. At her words about usefulness, the tom felt his amber eyes widen in shock. “Peachpaw! Don’t say things like that. The whole clan finds you useful. Who else would have gotten this thorn out of my paw?” He exclaimed with a pout, not wanting the pretty she-cat to speak down on herself. Sure it might have been a slow day, but Berrypaw strongly believed a clan would never be able to function with a medicine cat or a medicine cat apprentice. In his eyes, they were pretty lucky to have Peachpaw.
Before Berrypaw could answer her question about his first-day training, he watched as she moved closer which came as a shock to the tom. No one had ever been this close to him before other than his littermates and his mother! Though, it didn’t bother him too much. The tom couldn’t help but puff his chest at her words, taking in the compliments with pride. “You really think so? Well, it was only my first training session today but I think I did really great! Foxnose taught me about tracking and being aware of your surroundings and I think he likes me so far so I hope -” He was once again interrupted, but this time by the large body of Snarlingbadger who pushed him away from the medicine cat apprentice. The tom watched the warrior in awe as he wrapped himself around Peachpaw and growled. He was so big! The tom had never really been close to Snarlingbadger before, but Berrypaw heard the story about the warrior who was attacked by a badger and had his tongue bitten off. The tom couldn’t help but watch the older feline in awe, the noticeable muscles rippling underneath his fur and his defensive stance towards his clanmates. Like a true thunderclan warrior! And all those scars? Wow he’s so cool. Berrypaw could barely notice the smile on his face growing wider as he stared at the tom. “Wow…” He breathed.
Blinking, Berrypaw brought himself out of the daze and glanced down at Peachpaw in confusion. “Wow, you guys must be so close! Are you best friends? Don’t worry S-Snarlingbadger! I won’t take much of her time, she was just checking up on me! I had my first ever wound!” He lifted his paw to show off the now disappearing hole in the pad of his foot, proud of himself. “Isn’t cool? N-Not as cool as you though.” Berrypaw had never felt nervous before, he had never even stuttered or stumbled over his words before this very moment. It’s probably because he’s such a well-known warrior! He’s so cool…June 14, 2019 at 2:46 am #1391
Thunderclans Peachy Princess
Peachpaw couldn’t help but giggle at the tom words, “Berrypaw it was just a thorn any cat could have removed it, but thank you. I needed that.” It was true, Peachpaw was having a hard time coping with the possibility of losing Snarlingbadger. She ended up taking a lot of her anger out on herself, though that was something she thought best to keep to herself. A growl erupted from the cream colored molly as Snarlingbadger barreled through her den, she had done such a good job at avoiding him all day that fact that he threw himself in her den filled the she cat with anger. “Excuse you, I’m working here” she managed to huffed out before he pushed her away from Berrypaw.
Even with her body filled with rage she couldn’t help the warm feeling trying to take over when the larger warrior wrapped himself around Peachpaw, slightly leaning into the toms body. Shaking her head Peachpaw pulled away from Snarlingbadger, she had to stand firm on her feelings of him leaving and not let herself be taken over by her feelings for him. “Snarlingbadger!” Her voice echoed in the den, using his given name in times of scolding, “This is Berrypaw, my patient, you can’t come in here like that you could have injured him. You’re much bigger than him.” Peachpaw almost sounded mature when telling off the tom cat but in truth when she took notice as to how he normally acted when they were around other, which was usually distant, as if he was scared to show affection towards her. It really got under the she cats fur, causing her deep inner self to show.
Peachpaws eye widen at her own actions, she was supposed to be sweet and caring. Quickly remembering her position and the face she showed around others Peachpaws demeanor changed back to her ‘normal’ self. “I’m sorry Honey, I shouldn’t have yelled at you. Are you injured? Do you need something?” Her small body moved closer to him, pelt brushing his as she circled the tom looking for injuries. Peachpaw took quick notice of Berrypaw eyeing her Honey, making sure he noticed the delicate way she moved around Snarlingbadger, he belonged to her, even if she was mad at him. “Oh yes we are very close” she mewed, Head butting the large black and white warrior as she answered Berrypaw, “He’s my Honey!” She purred, eyes glaring at the apprentice, her voice trying to keep up with her sweet personality while he eyes always gave away her true feelings.June 14, 2019 at 3:52 am #1392
Snarlingbadger ~ ThunderClan Warrior
He blinked in surprise when Berrypaw stared up at him with the roundest eyes he had ever seen, it actually caused his snark to disappear as he gazed down at the young apprentice. Berrypaw was obviously not a threat to his relationship with Peachpaw, this fact caused the tips of his ears to heat up in embarrassment. How stupid.. He thought silently to himself, eyes lowering as he gazed towards the very small puncture wound on the bottom of Berrypaw’s paw as he held it up for him to see. He was cool? This caused his chin to tilt in amusement as the apprentice clearly looked up to him, a small smile beginning to play on his lips. Peachpaw had been leaning back into him, he definitely noticed the change in her weight when she suddenly pushed off of him, rounding on him as her inner beast was starting to rise to the surface. This was a different side to Peachpaw that she had never let loose before, eyes narrowing as he glared towards the she-cat. He may have been in love with her, but she was trying his patience.
Snarlingbadger was caught off guard when she suddenly moved closer to him and used his sweet nickname, her lovely cream colored coat brushing against his, which caused a shiver to run down his spine. Get a grip, Snarling. She’s toying with your emotions because Berrypaw is here. A inner voice was yelling at him, causing a smirk to rise along his lips when she suddenly seemed possessive of him. A small grunt escaped his lips when she head butted him, it was certainly a sign of affection but not the kind he desired. Yeah your honey.. the honey you have been ignoring. He huffed, glancing back towards Berrypaw as he gave the apprentice a rough purr. Stepping away from Peachpaw’s grasp, lowering his head as he gently pressed his nose against the small tomcats head, it was his way of apologizing to Berrypaw for being so rough earlier. Peachpaw was right… Snarlingbadger was over twice the size of the young cat. He gave a gruff huff, then lowered his head to sniff at the young cats pelt, searching for an injury he would have caused, all the while staring at Peachpaw as he did so. Black and white fur mingling with Berry colored fur as he looked the apprentice over, he didn’t seem to be injured. Assured that he hadn’t hurt the small Tom, he gently scuffed Berrypaw over the ears as a playful sign.June 16, 2019 at 1:29 am #1498
“Don’t worry Peachpaw! I’m not hurt!” Berrypaw interrupted, not wanting to cause an argument. The young tom couldn’t help but stare back and forth between the two, his still maturing mind trying to figure out what was going on. He’d never seen Peachpaw so frustrated before, he’d never seen her raise her voice at anyone. It was all so shocking. But when she quickly changed her demeanour, Berrypaw found himself smiling at her. She’s so nice to look out for me! But I’m sure Snarlingbadger meant no harm. As the two moved closer to each other and the medicine cat apprentice spoke, the berry-furred tom cocked his head in curiosity. “Your honey? What does that mean?” Since Berrypaw was still young, he had yet to develop proper observation skills. Because of this, he was unable to see Peachpaw’s angry eyes and could only see her happy face. So to him, everything seemed just fine.
His amber eyes widened when Snarlingbadger began to purr in his direction, unable to describe the feeling he was getting from it. The young apprentice smiled up at the older warrior when his nose touched the toms forehead. Berrypaw took it as an apology for accidentally pushing him. Blinking as Snarlingbadger went to sniff his side, the tom let out a small giggle when the older feline playfully swiped at his ear. “Thank you, Snarlingbadger.” Berrypaw laughed like a child. He had an excitable and impressionable personality. The tom was very playful yet absolutely naive, so he was completely oblivious to the situation at hand.June 16, 2019 at 4:05 pm #1511
Thunderclans Peachy Princess
Annoyed grunts vocalized when the warrior moved away from Peachpaw. The molly wanted to be mad at Berrypaw but couldn’t seem to find a way to, she knew that naive look he had all too well, “I’m glad you’re not hurt Berrypaw.” Was the choice in words she thought was better than losing it on the apprentice as well.
Her small cream body mimicked Snarlingbadgers from earlier when she forced herself between the two toms, trying to push Snarling back away from Berry. It was obvious that she wasn’t able to move the tom, Peachpaw moved aside, head dropping as she found her way to the back of the den, tail curling tightly around her paws as she tried to stifle a sniffle. Peachpaw had always tried to be the sensible feline she needed to be as a medicine cat but with all the current pressure she was under, sometimes her actions became blurry even to herself. She didn’t know why she had acted so coldly towards the warrior but with the idea of Snarlingbadger leaving the clan, her constantly looking over her shoulder because of Kass on top of all her training was perhaps a bit too much for the young feline to comprehend all at once.
Berrypaw question echoed in her mind, what does it mean? It wasn’t something she ever really thought about, she just knew it was what she called it. Searching for the answer her soft blue eyes closed as her head tilted up, what does it mean? With the answer found Peachpaw let out a slow collected breath, “It means he belongs to me.” Her words spoken with confidence, yet her paws still unable to move towards the black and white warrior again once she saw he use her own truck against her, moving closer to Berrypaw while watching her, Maybe I deserve this.June 16, 2019 at 6:33 pm #1519
Snarlingbadger ~ ThunderClan Warrior
He was surprised by Peachpaw’s behavior when she tried to use her body to push him away from Berrypaw. However, the large black and white warrior wasn’t going anywhere, he was annoyed with the small cream colored she-cat. She had been ignoring him all day, then she had used sweet Berrypaw to make him jealous, which had actually worked. What was her game right now? Ear twitching as he looked down at Berrypaw, who seemed oblivious to what was going on, the tip of his tail flicked with his own curiosity. Yes.. what does it mean, Peachpaw? He thought silently to himself, pale yellow eyes trailing towards Peachpaw as she looked confused to the answer and suddenly moved towards the back of the den.
He couldn’t hear the sniffles as Berrypaw was talking in his ear, but his pale eyes were locked in on the cream colored warrior. Did she care for him like he cared for her? He had nearly been ready to attack Berrypaw for her. Grunting he looked down at Berrypaw as he thanked him, giving a slow nod as he gently nudged the tomcat with his shoulder. Ears twitching when Peachpaw suddenly spoke, face turning towards the she-cat as she confidently claimed that Snarlingbadger was hers. His heart lifted and began to bound in his chest, but the look on her face was also annoyance with the fact that he was sitting so close to Berrypaw. Slowly he stood up and moved towards Peachpaw, eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to why she had been ignoring him all day. Lips parted slightly for a moment as if he wanted to speak; instantly becoming frustrated he stomped a single paw against the ground to express his frustration.
Slowly he exhaled a deep breath that he had been holding in through his flared white nostrils, pale eyes looking into Peachpaw’s brilliantly bright eyes. Did she mean it? Was he just hers as a friend… or was he hers, as a lover? She was still an apprentice, yes, but he couldn’t deny the feelings he had for the beautiful she-cat.. she was truly the only cat who understood him and didn’t treat him any differently.. and yet she was upset with him. He knew why, it was because he was leaving, but why hate him? Upper lip pulled up in a snarl as he looked down at the she-cat, she blamed him. Fine.. be mad. He thought angrily, shaking his head for a moment before he started to walk towards the she-cat. Roughly he thrust his muzzle against her own, giving her neck a small nip in a sign of affection. Normally cats would simply lick at the muzzle and then nip the neck, he didn’t have that option, in short he gave her a feline kiss. Don’t make me leave on bad ground.. Snarlingbadger quietly pleaded with Peachpaw, gazing down at her. What would her reaction be to his sudden show of affection?June 16, 2019 at 10:18 pm #1529
The young tom watched Peachpaw as she moved around the den, pushing her body closer to the large warrior. Their actions to each other were so foreign to the apprentice that he couldn’t help but watch in wonder. Making eye contact with Snarlingbadger, the tom waited for her response to his question. Berrypaw frowned in confusion at her words. Belonged to her? Amber eyes glancing at Snarlingbadger once more as he moved beside the light coloured she-cat and then back at Peachpaw for an explanation. “I don’t get it.” Furrowing his kitty brows, the tom shifted his paws for a moment as he felt uncomfortable looking at them while they shared a personal moment. Berrypaw had never really seen something like this before, he knew some felines were closer than others but he didn’t know why. “What does it mean, to belong to someone?” The apprentice questioned, glancing back up at them when he seemed it was appropriate. “Peachpaw… Are you mad at Snarlingbadger?” The tom asked, wondering if she would be offended by his question.

Thunderclans Peachy Princess
Peachpaw, as upset as she was, couldn’t help but smile at Berrypaws confusion towards the twos relationship. It the normal sense their relationship was an odd one as she was still an apprentice but in her line of work full names weren’t just given away. Perhaps if she was a warriors apprentice she would have already received her name as she was certainly of age too but that’s not how Medicine cat names worked.
Her small nose twitched as the tom touched her muzzle with his own, knowing it was his way of showing affection. A rather loud purr followed the she cats quick, small lick to Snarlingbadger muzzle, “I’m sorry” she muttered to him before turning her clearly short attention span to Berrypaw. “Well that’s a difficult question Berrypaw with more than one meaning, but in our case-“ Her words faded out as she looked back at the black and white tom does he feel the same? While his actions should have been clear enough to answer her question she never wanted to just assume his feelings, “In my case I mean, I care deeply for him and I never want him to leave my side.”
Then came the dreaded question, was she mad at him? Not particularly more upset than anything. “I suppose it does look like I’m mad at him, but no I’m not or at least not anymore.” Her answer wasn’t the full truth she was mad that he was leaving but that’s being mad at the situation and not the feline. Wanting to change the situation to a more friendly environment Peachpaw jumped to her paws, “Say Berrypaw how was your first time training?” Peachpaw smiled innocently at the two toms, trying to help the situation.June 18, 2019 at 7:02 pm #1598
Snarlingbadger ~ ThunderClan Warrior
Pale yellow eyes looked into the soft blue eyes of Peachpaw as his muzzle was tenderly pressed against her own, eyes narrowing slightly when he could physically see her relax. A soft voice tickled his ears as she whispered that she was sorry, her tongue scoring over his muzzle caused tiny tingling sensations to rush over the area where her tongue had touched. He blinked when she suddenly looked towards Berrypaw, silently letting out a frustrated breath as the sweet apprentice was taking up Peachpaw’s time for them to talk properly. Grunting slightly he turned to where he was sitting down on the ground but watching the two cats as Peachpaw tried to explain what exactly she had meant. Eyes narrowing slightly when she looked back at him, hesitation clear in her voice before he sucked on his teeth with she spoke. He mattered so much to her that she didn’t want him to leave. A frown tugged at the corners of his lips before he slowly stood up and moved towards the small she-cats side. She wasn’t that small, but more so because of his height and broad figure she seemed that way.
Pressing his side against the molly, his long tail found her floofy tail as he twined his tail his hers. A loud purr tickling the back of his throat as he pressed his nose against the side of her head. Snarlingbadger felt the same as she did, although he didn’t want to leave Peachpaw behind, he had to put the Clan first.. just like she had to. Clearing his throat he looked down at Berrypaw as Peachpaw questioned the small tomcat about how his first day of training went, although he kept his tail twined with Peachpaw’s so she couldn’t move away.
