Storm had no real destination in mind, just that the place she was ‘born’ was not one she felt safe at. She couldn’t understand why, as nothing crossed her mind as a threat but within her bones it made her leave the bridge and concrete behind for the forest. Storm was beginning to feel irritated at how little she knew, she didn’t even remember what food was her favorite or if perhaps she enjoyed dawn or dusk more. There was nothing, she was nothing. It was like she never existed until a few days ago, a blank slate.
Storm decided to just… wander. Perhaps her memories would return to her naturally, there was no point in sulking over it. She made a crude gesture with her paw without thinking. Storm wasn’t sure why speaking with anything but her words felt more natural, it was something she kept doing.
She huffed, crooked tail twitching as she stopped under a canopy of trees. Storm looked up, seeing something with wings fly over head… it was called a bird, her scattered mind managed to salvage. Of course it remembered details like that but not who she was. Storm shook her head and absentmindedly signed into the dirt. “[Ridiculous, honestly!]”
