Freshly fallen snow blanketed the once green yard. A black roof decorated white with the powdery substance. A warm fire crackling, lit by the twolegs who occupied it, their lovely cat curled up in her soft bed, enjoying the warmth protecting her from the cold. “Milky, breakfast time Milky” a soft voice called out, pulling the house cat out of her faux fur bed. Deep black nose twitching as the aroma wafted from the silver stain bowl fresh from the microwave. Baby blue eyes watching her two leg molly fondly as she placed the bowl on a blue mat, “Eat up little one, todays a big day!” The she cats human seemed to be glowing more than usual today, a light high pitched meow filling the room when the she pressed her head into the twolegs out reaches hand. Another deeper voice approached from the hallway, a male twoleg following it, “Time to go.” He quickly gave the creamy she cat a pat before rushing out the door with his molly.
Saying that Milky lived the perfect life was an understatement, she was brushed many times a day, fed three perfect meals a day and near once felt scared. Though often she felt like something was missing, a something she chose to ignore, knowing it’d be foolish to give her life up for it. Licking her lips she quietly thanked her ancestors for her meal, her slender body sliding through the small entrance way made just for her. Her paws touched into the snow, the cold wet feeling new to her she quickly retracted her brown paw, her toes painted white with snow. Touching the snow once more, her small paws sank into the wetness, leaving small prints in her track wanting to explore the land around her new home.
Blindly slowly at the fence protecting her home, calculating the height before launching herself atop it. Glancing one more time at her house before leaping off it, just a quick look around, I’ll be back in time, she assured herself before venturing off to the forest around her. The smells of the trees invading her senses, everything was so mesmerizing. Though the sight didn’t last, she might be agile and swift but the ways of the woods were unknown to her, to be more specific jumping onto a fallen, dead tree trunk probably wasn’t the smartest idea, made more true by the sudden crackle of the bark, her front end falling through, only her tail and hind legs visible. Her hind paws struggled against the bark in attempt to pull herself free. Faint mews of help echoing through the other end.December 6, 2019 at 10:55 pm #4311
Firebird ~ Skyclan
’Where is she…’ he wondered, brows furrowed in worry as he silently trudges through the snow. Ignoring the pins and needles in his pads with every step. Blazing ember eyes flickering around in search for Blazestar. Her disappearance was jarring, it would seem that she had left in the middle of the night. Leaving no trace of where she could have gone, not even her scent was detectable. This caused frustration to well up within the tall fiery and sandstone ginger deputy. Why would she leave? What could be the reason for her disappearance? Grunting in displeasure, pelt ruffling in the cold breeze brushing against his form. Squinting through the haze of snow falling from the darkened grey sky as clouds hid the sun from sight. He was out searching for her on his own, as he did not want to cause a panic or chaos with telling his clanmates of the disappearance of Blazestar. No, he wanted to be absolutely sure before speaking his doubts that their leader was not coming back.
Just the thought of that caused his heart to race and skip with anxiety. He did not know if he was ready to take such responsibility over Skyclan. Would they even accept him? Firebird knows he hadn’t made the best impression with his reckless actions at the gathering, his heart was in the right place but sadly it was not executed very well on his part. Even though he felt that he was not ready to take the role as leader, he also knew that he would do whatever is best for his clan. If that meant shallowing his doubt and stepping up, then so be it. Nostrils flaring as he sighs deeply, blinking away the clouded glaze from his ember eyes. Paper thin ears twitching at the muffled chirps of Jay birds and cardinals, branches breaking under the weight of icicles hanging threateningly above, glistening as the snow reflected off of the ice.
Crunches of snow could be heard in the silent air. Faint howls of the wind passing through the forest was calming as it was eerie. A long trail of large paw prints could be seen, leading up to the Maine Coon that created them. His blazing pelt stuck out significantly against the stark white snow around him. Firebird was just glad that he wasn’t wanting to blend in, and if he stuck out then surely Blazestar would as well with her pale tabby ginger fur. Coming to a slow stop, standing there as he lets his gaze wander over woods of snow, never ending. His breath fogging near his parted black lips, shoulders slacking as he was loosing hope in his search. Frowning as anger was forming within him, if she had left Skyclan for good, why hadn’t she confided in him. He was her deputy after all, he was there to help her make decisions and if needed; be a lending ear. Yet, it seemed that whatever was going on within Blazestar, it was something that he could not help her with.
While he stood in the middle of the birch trees, tail lashing with irritation and frustration did he hear muffled mews of panic and urgency reached his ears. Straightening up as he turns in the direction of the sound, “Blazestar?!” His deep voice echoed as he dashes after the voice. Firebird knew that the chance of finding her was slim, but couldn’t help but hope he would find her and question her on her disappearance. Powdered snow flying around him, muscles coiling and flexing as he runs. Claws slipping from their sheathes, digging into the frozen ground. Gracefully ducking under low branches, hopping over logs before coming to a sudden stop. Skidding slightly, feet sinking into the deep bitter cold snow.
Eyes widening in surprise as what he sees before him, instead of finding Blazestar, he finds what seems like a white molly with dark grey tail and paws. He only deduced that she was a molly by her high pitched voice. Biting his lip to hide his amusement as her hind paws flail frantically to get a hold of the bark. Masking his amusement as he did not recognize her scent; she did not smell of earthly scents but something foreign. Eyes narrowing as he pass around the hollow log, peeking into the log as he spots the Siamese she-cat. “What are you doing in Skyclan territory?” He coldly asked. He didn’t even bother to make a move to help her in her little sticky predicament until he figured out where she came from and why she was here.December 6, 2019 at 11:25 pm #4313
Delicate claws desperately attempted to latch onto the bark, trying to find anything to grip onto. The slick coat that glossed the usually rough texture made it almost impossible for such a delicate show cat to figure out. Her dusty brown/grey tail lashing out angrily behind her. The hard tree pressing deeply into her side, the most uncomfortable thing the young protected molly had ever felt. The aroma of a foreigner caught her by surprise, sure she was calling for help but she was expecting more along the lines of a human coming to her aide, not a mangy looking tom cat.
Deep ember eyes piercing into her as the foreigner spoke to the molly. Simply his condescending tone ruffling the mollys fur. Silvery whiskers twitching in annoyance, “Why should I answer to you?” Milky didn’t have the best experience with toms, the only ones she had met where fellow show cats who were only have after one- prolonging perfect genes. Her paws once again pressing against the tree, trying to free herself, “Some gentleman you are. You should offer to help ya know!” She huffed as she realized the larger gingery tom had just been standing there.
Her sky blue eyes locked onto his ember eyes, debating on whether to give in or not. Milky was indeed a stubborn princess, looking away from the foreigner her dusty brown paws got back to work on freeing herself. Though she feared she was doing more harm than good, her constant clawing at the bark creating sharp edges, pressing deeply into her sides, more afraid of ruining her perfect coat than injuring herself Milky looked back to the Maine Coon. Exhaling deeply as a pleading look formed on her brown muzzle, “My names Milky, I belong to the house not far from here. I don’t know what Skyclan is and I just need a paw to get free.” Her voice shaking, terrified of possibly outcomesDecember 7, 2019 at 12:03 am #4314
Firebird ~ Skyclan
Casually leaning his large frame against the wooden arch way, tilting his large wedged cranium as he watches the white and dusty brown molly in her feeble attempts to free herself from her own carelessness. Nose wrinkling in disgust at her overly sweet scent, he could already detect that she was a spoiled kittypet. If it wasn’t her scent that gave her away, it was definitely her lack of experience of the wooden life. Any feline could tell that the log had been laying and dry rotting for several moons, and yet here she was. Dangling comically upside down with her hind end sticking up on the other side.
His blank gaze remained of her struggling form, waiting for her to actually answer his question, well demand. Sighing as boredom was slowly starting to set in, he had no time to deal with a snobbish kittypet. After all; he was on a mission in search of Blazestar. Scowling at her rude tone, “Hmph you don’t really seem to be in a position of making demands” Firebird calmly stated, though there was a flicker of annoyance in his fiery gaze. Although, it did amuse him to watch her get all worked up by his simple demand and his lack of help. Clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth, shrugging his shoulders as she tried to make him feel a shed of guilt for not already coming to her aid. “No answer. No help” he simply stated as he leans more into the wooden log.
Yes, he would eventually help the Siamese kittypet, to get her out of his territory. As he did not want her staying much longer than necessary, even if she was on the outskirts. That didn’t mean he couldn’t enjoy the few moments before taking action. Just when he was going to turn away, pretend to leave did she seem to cave in. Realization must have dawned on her that she was not getting out without assistance. ‘Ah I was right.’ He thought as she revealed her kittypet status. Rolling his eyes at her pitiful look as she mentally begged him to help free her. Flickering his gaze upwards, studying the wooden structure. He would have to pull her downwards as if the log couldn’t hold her weight, it definitely would not hold his bulky form.
“Okay Kittypet. Let’s get you down from there” his voice gruff as he slowly pass further into the hollow log. Ignoring the worms and beetles crawling within the damp shelter. Pausing below her, smirking as he rises on his hind legs, ears brushing against the roof of the wood. “Now you need to let your body go limp, so I can pull you through. Any struggling will cause harm. Understand?” He huffed. Barely giving her a moment to process his words as he firmly grasps onto the scruff of her neck. Mentally thanking his tall form, swiftly he yanks her downwards as he releases her from the stubborn bark.December 7, 2019 at 8:13 pm #4316
Brown tipped ears flickered towards the muscular tom cat as he approached her, “I don’t know what a kittypet is but I take that as an insult, especially coming from such a shabby stray.” Though her words were cut short as he gave her instructions. Reluctantly she obeyed his commands, allowing her creamy body to relax, gasping lightly when his teeth gripped her scruff. Pure disgust crawling up her spine when her paws touched the bug filled log, bolting out of the darkened log, rubbing her paws on the snowy ground to clean the filth.
Turning to face the ginger warrior as he emerged from the fallen log, clearly embarrassed as small bark particle still decorated her body. Her eyes studying him for a few heartbeats, “Well I suppose thank you are in order now so Thank you.” She mewed quietly. The dusty mask painting her face, coating her tails and bottom half of her legs were all signs to the mollys purebred pedigree, her coat, while currently dirty, still had a high level of grooming to it, Milky was all in all the perfect show cat and she was proud of her lineage. She wasn’t the type to ask for help, she more expected it, though it was clear this particle tom wasn’t the kind to willingly offer to lend a paw. “Excuse me Mr….um I never quite got your name?” Her eyes slowly blinking as she await his answer. “It would seem I’m a tad lost.” She continued.December 7, 2019 at 9:50 pm #4317
Firebird ~ Skyclan
‘Shabby?’ Firebird inwardly echoes back. Eyeing her coldly as he doesn’t even bother to help her up from the damp wood and soil floor. “Tsk great way to thank your savior” he huffed as he carefully steps over her. Pausing on his way out of the log as he sees a white and dusty brown figuring rush by. Sighing as he watches the kittypet bolt out of the decaying log. Glancing around the darkened shelter for a brief moment before following after her. Arching a brow at Milky, a bemused expression on his sharp features as she cleans her paws vigorously in the snow. Rolling his eyes in exasperation, “Why even venture out into the woods, when it’s clear you just can’t handle it?” He asked, though by his tone it would seem that he did not care for an answer.
Fiery ginger fur ruffling in the cold wind, muscles tensing beneath his thick pelt as he suppresses the urge to shiver. Tilting his head upwards, pupils slitting as he studied the sky. “It would seem that a storm is coming” the clouds had darkened and the slight fluttering of snow was slowly increasing. Though, Firebird was glad it was not another hurricane, a snow storm was not much better. He needed to return to camp, Skyclan was already missing a leader; they could not afford to lose a deputy as well. Turning away from the long-furred Siamese, full intent on leaving her to find her own way home, at least that was until she spoke towards him. Looking over his shoulder, ember hues landing on her disheveled appearance as she thanks him. Tail flicking as he lets her know that he heard her and accepted her words.
Clenching his jaw as it would seem that he wouldn’t be leaving her anytime soon. Shifting his form to get a better look at her, ears flickering as she rambles on. Catching the ending of her sentence on wondering what his name was and needing help finding her way home. If Firebird could, he would be pinching the bridge of his nose in exasperation at the predicament he now found himself in. This is what he gets for trying to do the right thing for someone not from his clan. ‘Starclan, are you happy now?’ He huffed. “My name is Firebird. I’m not a stray, but a deputy of Skyclan” his voice deep and smooth, his tone being flat as to indicate how much he was enjoying this little chat. “Were you not paying attention on where you were going?!” He snapped, irritated at her oblivious nature.
Closing his eyes, nose flaring as he takes a deep breath to calm his temper. Now was not the time to take out his frustrations on the kittypet. He should expect nothing less on her cluelessness of the outdoors. From one glance at her, he could tell that she never had to endure the hardships of being raised out in the wilderness. Why should she, when it would seem that she had a perfect little home to get back to with the two legs. Letting his eyes flutter open, staring at Milky for a moment. Padding up to her, regarding her in silence before gesturing behind her. “I will take you to the edge of my territory, no further. I’m sure if you continue to head east that you will be reunited with your masters” his tone holding a twinge of disgust in regards to the two legs. Shoving past her, letting his long fluffy tail smack her in the face. “Keep up. I won’t slow down for you” he warned without looking back at her.December 8, 2019 at 12:26 pm #4320
Dusty ears flickered at his words, “Oh I assure you, I most certainly can handle it.” Clearly unamused by him, her tail wrapped firmly around her paws as she lowered herself down, “Why would I want to explore My territory, it’s important to know what I’m dealing with.” She huffed, clearly not going anyway as she knew that her leaving would please the tom cat too much.
The sky above them darkened the long they bickered, the cold winds sending shivers down her creamy spine. Sky blue eyes watching the snow fall around them, mesmerized by the sight, “I’ve never seen this stuff before, it’s beautiful.” She mewed, to no one in particular. Milky and her humans had only recently moved to their new home from a much warmer environment, the molly had never once seen snow, and knew nothing of its beauty or danger. Snapping herself out of a trance her gaze frantically looked around, “I really should be getting home soon.” Her voice soft and quiet, she might not know what snow was but even she knew that dark clouds were never a good sign.
Worrid plastered on her dark muzzle when the ginger tom turned to leave, her only hope of finding home gone. Sighing heavily as she watched him walk away, moving to her feet herself trying to find something she recognized to get her home. Ears dropping as her tracks were now covered, the one thing she was going to use to get home. Smirking as an idea formulated in her cranium, “Well I guess I’ll just be stuck her forever then.” She mewed, nonchalantly, hoping I’d be enough to get the tom cat to change his mind about leaving her there. Her paws feeling giddy when he did exactly what she thought he would as he turned around and padded back towards her. “Skyclan? I never heard of it, sounds boring.” Her tone matching his cold, uninterested voice.
Her creamy body pressed into his ginger frame for a moment out of pure happiness when he agreed to take her part of the way home. Her eyes widened as she realized what she did, shoving herself backwards off him, clearing her throat, “Well Thank You Firebird.” She mewed sweetly, taking a step back to let him lead the way. Black nose twitching as his tail made contact with her face, biting her tongue knowing fighting with him at this point would just mean she was lost and made a fierce enemy. Her slender build and light frame made traveling through the snow an easy feat, “It’s you I’m worried about keeping up.” The she cat already moving ahead of him, though only by a few Fox lengths of she was certain she didn’t want to get separated from him.December 20, 2019 at 5:59 pm #4355
Firebird ~ Skyclan Deputy
Tensing up once he realized that Milky was pressing against him in a form of a hug. Scrunching up at the contact, he was not one to be comfortable with personal contact with others. Clearing his throat awkwardly, though his eyes glimmered in amusement as he could tell that she felt just as out of place as he did in that moment. Humming in response to her thank you, in all honesty he just wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible. The deputy had better things to do then to escort a kitty pet back to the edge of where the two legs resides in.
Frowning and glaring after the white and dusty brown she cat as she bounds in front of him, flaunting that she was better equipped in the snow than he was. Rolling his ember eyes as he huffs in annoyance, “At least I know where I’m going” he smirked as he slips by her. His tracks deeper in the cold snow due to his bulky form. “You are veering off course..this way will lead to the outer edge of Skyclan, toward the direction of two leg homes” he snickered as he gestures more towards the East than West.
Firebird sighs quietly to himself as he leads Milky through the windy birch forest. The ashen bark of the thin, yet sturdy trees glistened against the stark white snow. Branches creaking under the strain of the frozen water, icicles hanging from the trees. The sun’s rays reflecting against the ice, causing the trees to glow enchantingly around them. Though it was beautiful sight, Firebird knew better than to ignore the threatening ice. He hoped that the icicles would remain clinging to the branches, many felines had been injured from the frozen dagger-like ice in the past.
The silence surrounding them could be considered awkward or heavy, but it did not bother Firebird one bit. He actually preferred silence over senseless chatter to fill in the void. The only indicator that Milky was still there was the faint crunching of snow and her breathing filling the silence. Looking over his shoulder, making sure she was keeping up before looking away. His face void of emotions, though he was inwardly frustrated. Not at having to take her back, but more so that his search for Blazestar had come to a dead end. There was no way he would be tracking her down in this weather, she would be long gone before the snowy storm could lift up. “Shouldn’t be much longer” he mutters, his voice easily filled the quiet forest around them.December 22, 2019 at 10:35 pm #4391
Milky was normally a very chatting female, silence causing great discomfort to her, but this silence was beautiful. Not a word muttered between the two, just the soft crunch of snow and frosty breathes the two exchanged. Her eyes danced around, she had never seen something so pretty, the way the powdery snow decorating the trees, the way the frozen water hung from branches, ending in a point.
Quickening her pace to walk side by side with the larger ginger tom cat, “This place is mesmerizing.” She mewed quietly to Firebird, her head turning every which way to take in all the sights during their journey. Dusty tail swaying contently behind her, she wasn’t exactly happy to be lost in the woods with an arrogant stray but part of her didn’t want to leave such an amazing place.
A brown paw touching the toms side, “Wait,” blue eyes staring deeply at the woods in front of her. Paws kicking up snow as she ran in front of the tom to a tree that stood larger than the rest around it, “I recognize this!” Her high pitched voice loudly calling out to Skyclan deputy. Jumping happily beneath it, this crazy tom wasn’t lying she was almost home.
Her dusty nose twitched when the feeling of water reached her ears, tilting her head upward to find its source. Large icicles staring back down at her, such amazing formations, yet also quite terrifying. Feeling her gut tell her to move out from underneath the tree came too late as small crackle sounds echoed from the solid water. Eyes widening as she looked from the icicle to Firebird, paws scrapping beneath her in a getaway attempt. The world went silent for Milky, not even her own piercing yowl reaching her ears as the icicle broke free from its position, slamming into her right hock. Pain rippling through her body, her body shoved forcefully into the snow, her small creamy body painting with dusty marking laying almost lifelessly on the cold ground, only soft whimpers hinting that she was still there.December 31, 2019 at 11:17 pm #4453
Firebird ~Skyclan Deputy
It felt strange to Firebird to be showing a feline that was not part of his clan through Skyclan territory. He did not particularly care for those who chose the simple life of a kittypet, but he did not hate them. To Firebird; he understood that not everyone can handle the life of Starclan, but that did not mean he would not judge those who did not follow the ways of the clan-life. He was actually surprised to find a kittypet so far away from her home, he found it odd that she would venture so far from her comfort zone.
Grunting as he listens to her softly mutter to herself about the enchanting beauty of the winter woods that surrounded them. Turning his large cranium to the side to get a better look at the Siamese molly. Arching a brow as he studies her silently, watching her face light up in wonder, this caused him to roll his eyes in annoyance at her child-like innocence. Her brightened facial features irked him to no end. Now was not the time to be all chippy as this situation did not call for it.
‘No wonder she got stuck in a log’ he couldn’t help but think as he continues to lead her towards the outer edge of Skyclan. Pausing in mid-step as Milky rushes past him once more. Did she have any respect? It would seem not. Huffing as he turns to fully watch her dash for a large tree that seemed to be familiar to her. “Okay. Terrific, let’s keep going” he replied monotonously. All he wanted was to head home, he had planning to do as it would seem that Blazestar was not coming back. That left him in charge and the next in line for becoming leader. Frowning at the thought before a loud crackle echoed throughout the small clearing.
Frantically he looks above Milky, the dangerous gleam of the icicle shaking from it’s perch on a branch. Ember eyes widening as he glances at Milky, seeing the panic starting to set in for the kittypet. “Don’t just stand there! Move your ass!” He urgently snapped. Growling in frustration as he bounds over to her. He was about three feet from her, ready to grasp hold of her to pull her away. Sadly, he was not fast enough; even with Milky trying her best to dodge the icicle. It still managed to clip her front. Wincing at the piercing scream that tore through the woods. Lowering his form next to her, his ember eyes scanning over her. Ears twitching at the whispers escaping her trembling lips.
Cursing underneath his breath as he notices her injured paw. Brows furrowing as he realized that she would not be able to travel back to her home in her current state, there was no way that the Skyclan deputy was dragging her back to the two legs; that would just be him begging to be caught. Biting his lower lip as he regards her silently before shifting his form, “Get on my back. I’ll take you back to camp. Hopefully Saffrongaze can heal you soon and get rid of you in no time” he sighs as he eyes the teary-eyed Siamese she-cat, his tail twitching with impatience.January 1, 2020 at 7:29 pm #4473
Tear filled eyes struggled to open as the fiery tom approached her, wanting to snap a sarastic remark, the pain stopping her from saying anything more than a simply “okay.” The Siamese molly pulling herself towards Firebird, using his body to help her pull herself up, not bothering to ask the rude tom permission. Careful not to help her hind paw touch the ground, begrudgingly laying herself gently on Firebirds back, “The sooner I can be rid of you the better both of us will be” Her tone speaking softly next to his ear, trying to find the pain she was clearly feeling.
Milky had never noticed the large toms physique, his muscle were much more toned than the flabby house cats she saw on a daily bases, granted he could do with a nice grooming and perhaps even a collar. Mentally giggling as she pictured this rugged rude tom in a proper home with a nice bed by the fire. I guess living in the forest having to run around like a bumbling idiot all day would give you muscles like this. Milky couldnt imagine having to live like this, never having a warm meal and not having servants to see to your every need, she loved the view but the thought of having to sleep on the hard ground made her nose twitch.
After riding on the toms back for quite a bit of time Milky broke the extended silence, “So not that I am going to complain that you’re actually being helpful but where exactly are you taking me?” She questioned the deputy.January 2, 2020 at 12:50 am #4540
Firebird ~ Skyclan Deputy
Grimacing ever so slightly as he feels her shifting her weight onto his muscular back. Grinding his teeth as he carefully rises fully to his paws, muscles rippling with the extra weight, but carrying her was nothing compared to when he had to carry the Shadowclan Apprentice; Skunkpaw back to their makeshift camp in the mountains. Fun times. His ears twitching at her soft warm breath tickling his ears, huffing quietly as he listens to her. “I couldn’t agree more” he grumbles back to her. Turning away from the fallen icicle, glaring down at it as he blamed its untimely fall in his new predicament of having to carry the spoiled kitty pet back to camp.
His slightly tangled thick fur protected himself from the harsh cold, he didn’t care much for his rugged appearance but could sense that Milky would have something to complain about. His ashen and Birchwood scent diluted by the freshly fallen snow and a faint smell of sweat mingled within his pelt as he moves away from the large tree. Ember eyes squinting as snow flurries flutter from the darkened sky, he hadn’t wanted to be out so late, but it would seem that nothing was to his favor at this moment.
Straining slightly as he trudges through the snow, his paws numbing due to the cold frozen water seeping into his paws and in between his toes. His large tuft ears perked up constantly as he listens attentively to his surroundings, all he needed was a predator to come attack when Milky and himself were most vulnerable. Muttering profanities under his breath as he listens to her talk once more. “Is it so hard to ask for peace and quiet?” He snapped in irritation. Continuing on towards camp for several more minutes before finally deciding to answer her. “Like I said; I’m taking you back to Skyclan camp to have our medicine cat tend to your injuries so you can hopefully soon, leave” he answered slowly as if she was mentally impaired to understand any other way. “Now shush so I can concentrate, if not I might just drop you” he snickered before easily maneuvering through the birch trees, getting closer and closer to camp.January 2, 2020 at 5:10 pm #4545
The longest eye roll followed Fireirds words, mimicking his words silently, finding the tom unbelievably annoying with how unsociable he was. Her back half bouncing slightly as they walked along, pain jabbing her hind leg, small claws uncontrollably latching into the long fur of the ginger tom cat. Milkys blue eyes watering, her head falling onto his back, small sobs escaping from her muzzle, trying to muffle her voice knowing the rude Firebird would just complain more. Rapidly breathing out to cope with the pain, slowly removing her dainty claws from the toms pelt, “sorry just let me rest here please” she mutter quietly, tear stain creamy fur decorating her face as she buried her face in his pelt.
Once the jabs of pain slightly subsided the Siamese she cat realized exactly what she had down, the odd earthy smell of Firebirds pelt harassing her nostrils, so gross!! her thoughts basically screaming at her. Her toes wiggling, though she could barely feel it meaning she had no option than to be at his mercy, she couldnt possibly make it back home if she couldn’t even feel her foot. Cursing silently Milky gave up on trying to move her leg and allowed the larger tom to carry her in peace, though only for a moment as she broke their silence once more, “Skyclan camp? Medicine Cat? How can someone possibly heal me without taking me to a vet?” The idea of a cat being able to heal completely dumbfounding the molly. “I guess seeing is believing.” She mewed, “I cant wait to see this O So Great Skyclan.”January 2, 2020 at 9:22 pm #4548
Firebird ~Skyclan Deputy
‘Starclan…if this is part of my punishment for that stupid gathering—it’s really pissing me off, so well done.’ he inwardly complained to Starclan above. Though he could not see the darkening sky due to the interwoven birch tree branches overlapping one another, he could sense that the stars above would be mocking him right about now. He could feel faint prickles where her dull-like claws dig into his coarse fur. Firebird decided that there was no use in telling her to stop digging her claws into him, especially when it didn’t hurt him but merely annoyed him. Though it would seem that was the least of his troubles. Coming to a sudden stop when he felt her trembling on him.
His pelt dampening as her sobs became more prominent from above. Eyes narrowing as he could not believe she had the audacity to cry into him as he carried her back to camp. Glaring pointedly at the ground before deciding to move onwards. He kept his lips tightly shut as he did not feel like dealing with her at this moment. He would just leave her be to cry her pain away. “Hmm” he grunted at her tear-filled words. He did not understand why she would say she needed rest, she was already resting along his back as he was the one carrying her ass.
“Still talking” he quietly groaned to himself as she continued to question on his way of life and doubting that his words rang true. “Yes a medicine cat” he pointedly answered. Firebird hops lightly over a small log, he didn’t check to see if she was okay. He knew that she was more than likely humiliated with having to be carried by a ‘dirty stray’ as she would more than likely call him. “Well you will believe soon enough. Camp is just beyond those trees” his deep voice hung in the air as he gestures to the small opening of the trees that would lead to Skyclan clearing.January 4, 2020 at 11:54 am #4586
Milky scoffed at the toms words, “Yes I am still talking” Her eyes rolling along the way, “Im in pain, now either put up with me talk or howling in pain your choice.” She huffed, tiring of his attitude, she wanted to be kind to him, as a thank you, but the way he spoke to her made it extremely hard. Bracing herself as he leap over a small log, pure white, dull claws gripping onto his pelt once more, “no need to worry im fine” she sarcastically mewed.
Blue eyes widening as they passed through an opening created by the trees, eyes taking a minute to adjust to a sudden change in brightness while passing through the entrance. The scent of the all the felines mixed together was strong enough for even the untrained kittypet to smell, pairs of eyes staring down the odd couple as the walked into the camp. “Wow there are so many cats.” she mewed quietly to Firebird. The sight of kittens out and about playing with mothers watching them, warriors coming and going to and from the camp at a steady pace, and finally, possibly the smelliest part of the camp, a large pile full of defeated prey. Gross.
