The black-gray tom stormed through the forest, his dark green eyes were looking straight ahead as he was bounding away from the Riverclan camp and deep inside the territory. Edgepaw heard a couple of warriors calling his name but he just ignored them as he just kept going on. He was breathing hard and if he had stopped, he would probably be shaking in anger. Some of the Skyclan cats came into the Riverclan camp as they had a little rouge problem going on, and they couldn’t control it. But upon leaving the medicine cat den from visiting Snowfeather, he was frozen in place as he saw one cat he didn’t expect to see or wanted to see, and that was his sister.. Aurora.
Edge and Aurora had a.. Complicated history, if you can say that. Both sharing a father who was very absent and cruel in life, but the black-golden molly ended up raising the tom for the first three moons until she ran off with their other sister. With his sisters gone, and their father growing more insane, Edge ended up facing the consequences and endured everything his father threw at him, but it wasn’t until he finally ran away one night and somehow ended up in the Riverclan territory. But now they were facing each other for the first time in moons, and it was bad as expected.
The black-gray tom was at the entrance of the medicine cat den and he stormed into the clearing, Aurora had a better temper than him but she even knew that this wasn’t going to a pleasant reunion so she met him half way in the middle of the clearing, it wasn’t until Edge started throwing insults at her, and Aurora rebutted his responses and the two were soon shouting at each other and Edge ended up shoving his sister, causing her wounds to open a bit. The two clans were in shock for most of it, not expecting this and it was Aurora’s kit who ended up breaking up the fight by going in front of her mother. Edge looking down at her, and it clicked why she left and they were both looking at each other until Swanpath dragged him away and once she got him to a safe area, he stormed away into the territory.
Edge needed to clear his mind, seeing his eldest sister brought back bad memories along with feeling of betrayal and hurt that she left him. Aurora had a valid reason as she needed to get away from their father since she was pregnant, but she could have came back for him. The tom went towards the direction of the Riverclan-Thunderclan border line and sat on the Riverclan side, just needing a breather and wanted to be alone for a moment.
The tom couldn’t stand that he was born into his family, couldn’t stand his past of being a rouge and even Snowfeather bringing it up made him more frustrated. Edge wish that she saw more than the rouge side when she looked at him, he would give anything to actually have been born a clan-cat, he probably wouldn’t be having all these issues and would had some kind of normal life which he honestly dreamed of at this point.
Edgepaw was lost in thought but he heard pawsteps approaching, and he looked down to still see he was on the Riverclan side of the border. If some Thunderclan cat was going to start giving him problems, he wasn’t in the mood for it. The last thing he needed was for someone to start hounding or taunting him.March 29, 2021 at 2:11 am #11616ChrisParticipant
“I trust you’re not planning on trespassing, son.” The shadows spoke. Or rather, a thin black tom who blended seamlessly into them did. He stepped into the light, relishing the warmth that draped over him. His word choice was less than friendly, but his amber eyes betrayed that he held no ill will.
“I won’t snitch if you do. Just don’t steal any prey.” He winked with a small laugh.March 30, 2021 at 10:20 pm #11640MissaParticipant
The black-gray tom watched the darker tom in front of him for a moment. Edge was hesitant at first, he studied the Thunderclan tom for a moment before he sat down, careful not to cross the border. Edgepaw didn’t want to get into any more trouble, or get the tom in front of him in trouble as well. His dark green eyes scanned the area of the Thunderclan for a moment before looking at Hawkbite “I promise I won’t cross, don’t want any problems with your clan.. Just needed some time out of my clan to think a bit.” Edgepaw admitted softly.
“What are you doing out here anyways? I doubt you’re on some kind of patrol.” Edgepaw said as he looked back towards the direction of his camp for a moment. He knew Swanpath would come look for him soon, she always was such a good mom to him.. Edge really didn’t deserve her as a parent, she was seriously too good for him.
“Don’t you ever just feel like you belong somewhere?” Edgepaw asked suddenly as his tail twitched for a moment and frowned for a moment as he played with the dirt on the ground for a moment “You feel like no matter how much you try to make others happy, it feels pointless sometimes because everyone just looks at you like you’re some kind of outsider.” He muttered as he tore up some dirt from the ground with his claws, he hated it. Feeling like some kind of outsider, he hated feeling like some rouge that wasn’t good enough to join the clans.
